Blender Video Editing - Part 15 (Video on a 3D plane) by Usman World:
This tutorial will show you how to place a video on a 3D plane. It requires a wheel mouse and a Number pad. This technique allows you to use a virtual camera to zoom in on parts of the video. It also lets you spin or distort the video in 3D. If you like, you could use this technique to make a "Ken Burns" style zoom effect using photos
instead of videos.
